Amdocs Campus Placement Process
Amdocs was founded in 1982, which was owned by the Aurec Group headed by Morris Kahn. Amdocs is a market leader in Telecommunication Billing Services. The company offers outsourced customer service and data centre operations.
Amdocs serves customers in more than fifty countries and has more than 20,000 employees. Market insight being one of the visions of Amdocs, it is always looking for fresh talent which could provide new and innovative ideas.
In order to be eligible for Amdocs campus recruitment, the student should have an aggregate of 60% and above in graduation and throughout academics. The student should not have any breaks in his/her academic career.
The selection process consists of a written test. It has been observed that the written test is divided in a few sections. The first is the aptitude and analytical section. It is then divided in sub sections. The sub sections are quantitative, learning ability and technical passage. The other section is the technical section. This is sub divided in to SQL, Unix and C, C++ and Java.
The student needs to score 60% overall marks in Aptitude portion comprising of quantitative ability, Attention to detail and Learning ability section and also score 60% overall marks in SQL, UNIX, C / C++ / JAVA in order to qualify in the next round.
The students who successfully clear the written test qualify for the group discussion round. In this round the students are divided in a group and a topic is given to the students.
The last round is the HR round. In this round the interviewer may ask a few technical questions also. He/she may also ask the about the project done by the student in the final year. The student may be expected to introduce him/herself. The interviewer may ask basic questions like hobbies, weakness and strength, goal, etc.
Before going for the interview the student must prepare in advance.
