iGate Interview Experience - Bangalore, November 28th, 2015.
I attended a referral off-campus drive in Igate at Bangalore, and recently got the offer.
First round was aptitude, it was not that easy.
30 questions on English (Comprehension, Antonyms, Synonyms, Error detection, Sentence Completion and Para jumbles).
15 questions on Logical Reasoning (Syllogisms, Puzzle Test, Coding-Decoding, Number Series, Figure Series, Blood Relations).
15 questions on Aptitude (Percentage, Ratio, Permutations and Communication, Probability, Time and Work, Allegations and Mixtures, SI & CI).
Time management is very important as everyone say. Anyhow Concentrate more on English and Reasoning.
If you have cleared the Aptitude test then you will be given a 8 page EAF(Employee Application Form) to fill up. Then you will be sent for next 2 rounds, i.e., Technical and HR.
The Technical Interview will mainly focus on all the projects, training, seminars and workshop attended and general questions based on your resume.
HR Interview questions were basic "Tell about yourself, hobbies, siblings, why should we hire you, why do you want to join us, What do you know about Igate, Where do you want to see yourself in the next 5 years etc...,"
If you successfully cleared these rounds, then you will be called for Document Verification(i.e., 10th,12th,B.Tech (All Sem Marks List), Provisional Degree Certificate(PC), CMM and ID Proof,etc.,).
Carry all the documents they have mentioned in your Interview call letter.
(All are Mandatory).
After the completion of verification they ask you to leave for the day. You have wait for a week or twice. Then Some HR will call you and tell the status of your employment (i.e., Selected or Rejected) and confirms your availability of joining, after that you will receive your Offer letter with DOJ and Job location.
Capgemini Acquired Igate recently.(Hope we are all Capgemini Employees soon..!!!)
